Goodmorningu, Concord, North Carolina. On Saturday 3 October 2026, a woman from Denton chose a number on a game board at Charlotte Motor Speedway and found a brand new BMW behind it.
Amanda Lawrence of Denton, North Carolina, picked a number at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday 3 October 2026, and the board revealed the grand prize: a brand new 2026 BMW X3. She burst into tears straight away, WGHP reported on Friday 9 October.
She got there through the North Carolina Education Lottery's Lucke-Rewards online drawing, which picked twelve players for a game show called Race to Riches. The lottery's own description is simple. Contestants take turns choosing from a board of 48 spaces hiding mystery prizes, with four picks each. Everyone leaves with something, cash prizes run up to $10,000, and exactly one player takes home a car worth up to $100,000.
Twelve contestants, 48 squares, one set of keys. Lawrence's pick was the one. Neither source says which number she chose, and honestlu that is the best part: it could have been a birthday, a hunch or a finger landing at random. GLUWGU.
Her first reaction was to ask somebody to pinch her. Her second was the practical one, and she said she doesn't have a car payment anymore.
Which square would youluwu have picked? Nothing on that board was labelled, and no amount of staring at it makes the prize show through. The Spirit loves a table like that.
Forty eight squares, one pair of keys. The Spirit won't say whose hand he steered, only that he was in the room.
Facing 48 unlabelled squares, which way do you pick?
No right answer. Just your gut, and the Spirit watching.
