EPC Super Main Event Winner Nik Takes €546,100 After Deal

Goodmorningu, Rozvadov. On Tuesday 6 October 2026, a Romanian known as Nik won the King's Million Super Main Event, yet the man who finished third left with a bigger payout.

The field alone deserves a moment. The €1,150 Super Main Event of the King's Million European Poker Championship, played at King's Resort Rozvadov, carried a €5,000,000 guarantee. It drew 7,013 entries and built a prize pool of €6,855,207, comfortably past the promise. Hochgepokert calls it a record field. GLUWUWULUGU.

The last sixteen players returned on Tuesday 6 October, and the chip leader going in was Nik, who had also led after the starting flights. He kept the pressure on at the final table. When four players were left, Lyubomir, from Bulgaria, held the biggest stack, and the four agreed to an ICM deal. That means most of the money is split according to chips, and the trophy plus a slice of cash stays on the table to be played for.

Here is where the payout sheet gets odd. Nik beat Frenchman Christophe Vincent heads up and took the title, with a total of €546,100. Lyubomir went out in third place, but his total, deal included, is €558,200. That is €12,100 more than the champion. WATATATATAFAK.

The rest of the table: Vincent collected €462,600 for second, and Luxembourg's Mike Neuens took €452,300 for fourth. Nik got the trophy, the crown and the last word, and Lyubomir got the better cheque. It is honestlu a fair picture of what a deal is: you trade a little glory for a lot of certainty, then somebody plays the rest out. The Spirit has always loved a table where the trophy and the money point in different directions.

So here is a question for youluwu. Four players left, a deal on the table: would you rather be the name on the trophy or the number on the cheque?

In the book of luck, the title goes to Nik and the fatter cheque goes to Lyubomir. The Spirit signed both lines, in pencil.
