Mike Tyson Sued for £1.5m Over Giant Talking Pigeon Gambling Ad

Mike Tyson has loved pigeons since he was a boy. Now a London court is hearing why he allegedly would not box one in a costume. The Spirit has seen strange bets, but this one has a beak.

On Wednesday 14 October 2026, London's High Court heard that Mike Tyson, 60, is being sued for £1.5 million, or $2 million, by the company behind the Rabona gambling brand. The claim: he walked out on a campaign built around a giant talking pigeon. WATATATATAFAK.

The plan, as described in court, was a livestream called Talking Pigeons. Tyson would be interviewed by a presenter in a pigeon costume, share childhood stories, teach the bird to box on a mannequin wearing Evander Holyfield's face, then play casino games on the Rabona site. The promoter, Medier, says he "simply lost interest" once a $15 million exhibition against Jake Paul came along.

Tyson's side tells it differently. His wife Lakiha, who runs his company Tyrannic, told the court on Wednesday that the contract only covered filming him at casino games, and that the pigeon show would have made him "the butt of the joke". She also said the Paul fight and the deal were separate matters. Tyson and Tyrannic deny any breach.

The money is real: a $2 million fee paid in instalments, of which Tyson had received nearly $190,000 before the two sides parted ways. The twist is honestlu hard to beat, because Tyson has raised pigeons since childhood and has written about what they meant to him. How much would it take youluwu to spar with a bird on camera?

The hearing continues, the verdict is still in the shoe, and somewhere a feathered suit is waiting for its cue.
