Sarawak Contractor Wins RM10.17 Million Toto Jackpot on Dream Numbers
Goodmorningu, Sarawak. A renovation contractor bought two numbers from a dream for only the second time, and they paid RM10.17 million, about US$2.49 million.
A renovation contractor from Sarawak, Malaysia, aged 54, hit the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 in the Saturday 26 September draw with the numbers 8622 and 5765. He says both were inspired by a dream. The payout was RM10,169,557.55, about US$2.49 million, and it was only the second time he had ever bet on them. WATATATATAFAK.
The habit behind the hit was a modest one. The Borneo Post reports that he has been a Sports Toto customer for more than 30 years, spending around RM50 a week, roughly US$12, on the 4D Jackpot. Then came a workday lunch near one of his renovation sites, a Sports Toto outlet right beside the restaurant, and a nudge he couldn't explain. “I did not think much of it at the time,” he told STM Lottery, the company that runs the games. He checked the result on the Sports Toto website that night, and by the time he claimed the prize at the operator's Kuala Lumpur head office he looked calm and relaxed, according to the reports. The Star quotes him saying he couldn't sleep the night after he found out. GLUWULU.
No one has said what the dream actually showed, only that the numbers came out of it. The father of two says he wants to keep the money prudently and set some aside for his children's future. A lucku hunch, then, with a sensible plan attached. The Spirit approves of both.
